In August 2014 H1 Holdings concluded a transaction to acquire the majority of Vuselela Energy and Eternity Power. Eternity Power is constructing a thermal harvesting power plant at the Anglo Platinum Waterval smelter. The plant is designed to generate 4.3MW of power. Commercial operations will commence in 2015. Vuselela Energy was the original developer of the project and will operate and manage the plant’s commercial operations. The Eternity Power project is the first of its kind in Africa and is a concept we intend to promote.
